Modifikasi Yamaha V-xion Rasa R6

Sutoyo punya selera tinggi. Yamaha V-ixion berbasic sport turing pengin dicustom jadi Yamaha YZF-R6.

Jani Balper. Dia modfikator Jani Balper Body Work (JBBW) di Jogjakarta. Kebetulan Jani paling sering garap motor-motor beraliran sport atau naked bike.

“Pemilik mau seperti Yamaha YZF R-6.

Makin kental peredam kejut depan custom diikat ke segitiga produk aftermarket merek Ride It.

Sebab setiap sudut disesuaikan konsep aslinya. Bahkan hingga sampai buritan sesuai aslinya yang nunggging,” lanjut Jani. Lalu fairing tadi dipasang lampu depan Honda Vario yang posisinya diatur ulang.
Tangki asli dicustom mengikuti desain fairing.

David Mann LA/Southbay Style

I've been thinking I'd like to post some more stuff that relates to this month's header but, have also known, I'm way overdue for posting some David Mann art. Then, as I was clearing out some files, I ran across this:
Was Dave purposely portraying a South Bay Chopper?

You might remember this from one of the Chopper Fest flyers. There's quite a few things of interest going on here. 1. Off hand, I can't think of any other of Dave's work featuring American 12 spoke mags. 2. The springer's front legs has a round perch like Dick Allen's did. 3. He's sort of revisiting the Hollywood Run with the sign and search lights. 4. It's signed Roach 1975, meaning it was done for Roach Studios, an old (t-shirt and decal), competitor of Ed Roth. Dave wasn't the only one that jumped ship. After Roth folded up shop, Ed Newton went over to Roach as it's art director. BTW Roach Studios has been rekindled and is now once again selling Newt's old designs.

All this, and the fact that my Google stats consistently show that the largest number of keyword searches are related to Dave's art, means there's a huge audience out there hungry for it.

Genata RC125 replicate Yamaha YZF-R125

otoMan friends this time we will discuss a bit about the duplicate
who is not familiar with the Yamaha YZF-125,, Japanese-made motor sport that has been marketed throughout the world. recently a producer from china at proclaim the motor has been plagiarized.
Make a motorcycle manufacturer from China, seems to patents, copyrights and trademarks not have significant power.
The result, many copies of the various motor manufacturers in the world to emulate by the manufacturer of the bamboo curtain.

As performed Genata Vehicle Holdings Limited, through its new model, Genata RC125. Need not be surprised if the shape is very similar to the Yamaha YZF-R125.
Almost all the details together. Starting from the fairing, tail and seat design with staircase to the exact same shape peleknya.
A slightly different only in the design of headlights that are not as sharp Yamaha YZF-R125 and shape swing arm.
An interesting dimension is also exactly the same mesinya Yamaha YZF-R125. Specification of the length, width and height of twins, 2015 x 660 x 970 mm. Wheelbase was equally 1355 mm.
Besides design, the engine combustion chamber is also carrying the exact same capacity. Are both 125 cc 4 stroke. they target the entry-level consumers in Europe.
But Genata RC125 machines using 5-speed transmission, while the Yamaha YZF-R125 adopting the 6-speed.

Differences can also be seen from both the speedometer panel. Speedometer Genata RC125 has a neutral indicator light, turn signal and high beam on the right side while the Yamaha YZF-R125 is fused to the panel kilometers.
Although identical twins, these manufacturers remain confident to introduce its products to several countries in Europe. One of them in Germany.
so first otoMan friends, the discussion this time, hopefully can be useful information, (otoMan)

VX800 Headed For A New Home

Still a sweet bike.
After several years of not working on the VX800, I have had to admit to myself that it's a project I'm just not going to finish.  As such, I listed it for sale on the VX800 forum, and someone right here in Phoenix took interest immediately.

A gentleman who owns another VX800 stopped by on Sunday to check it out, and unless things change, will be back later this week to pick it up.  As I understand it, his plan is to fix it up and then give it to his brother.

I'm glad it's going to someone who has a passion for the VX800.  I still think it's a really, really cool bike.  Of course, I think every bike is a really, really cool bike, so I guess maybe I'm not the best judge.  All the same, I'm going to be sad to see it go.

May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month - Watch Out for Motorcycles

May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month. Motorcycles are coming on the road in great numbers after being absent for most of the winter in northern climates. We all need to be reminded to watch for motorcycles. Consumer Reports has an article on this most important safety issue. Here's an excerpt:
"May kicks off Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, an initiative supported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). With spring well underway, riders are hitting the highways and byways, and this serves as a reminder to all drivers to be mindful that motorcycles are sharing the road." -- Jeff Bartlett, ConsumerReports.org
